Creag Meagraidh: 9th April 2011
Creag Meagaidh 1128m Stob Poite Coire Ardair 1054m Carn Liath1006m
Simply the best day of the year! We were out 8 hours and our legs and my heal stood up very well. We met quite a few people – it was a Saturday and they had mostly come up the ridge of Sron a’ Ghoire or Carn Laith which was our decent. We thought that our route the best as the other ways very very heathery and tussocky!
Looking up the glen with the window just visable on the left and Stob Poite Coire Ardair in the mist
Raeburn’s Gully – grade1 *** – with just a line of snow in it.- very sugary we thing as there was water running down the cliffs on the right. Easy gully hidden behind the central spur.
