Which Crag! Shepherds Crag……..

Well we set off to Black Crag with the intent of climbing up Troutdale Pinnacle  but when we got there it was very wet and greasy so we decided to walk round to Shepherds even though we thought it would be very busy – which it was! We first decided to have a go at Turning the North VD as there was a bit of a queue for Ardus. But it was impossible to start! so we abandoned it nearly loosing a bit og gear but managing to get it out. We then set off up Ardus MVS 4a 4a 4b. It was excellent although the last pitch traverse was a bit trickier that Roger remembered! as he couldn’t remember whether to go high or low. He went High and I went low!
