We had to get up at the crack of dawn to make sure we had enough daylight – 7am which is very early for me.,…and even earlier for Roger . We arrived at Seathwaithe before 9am and were amazed at the number of cars parked all along the road. Eventually it dawned on us that they were all belonging to people who were heading up Great Gable for 11am as it was remembrance day. Another lovely fine day we headed up to Styhead Tarn by the smaller path the scrambles passed Taylorgill force waterfall and easily found the corridor path – surprisingly ut was made up most of the way. Interesting once we were half way up Lingmell we  realised that it was in fact Lingmell and not Scarfell as we thought!! I took lots of pictures thinking it was Scarfell ……durr! But a brilliant day even allowing for my fall which I thought had broken my wrist and severely effected my camera holding capabilities.
