Our first day out from Joe’s

We got new tyres for my bike yesterday and they are a little fatter and a lot (hopefully) stronger so hoping for no more punctures for me! Which is just as well as the ride we chose went off the tarmac pretty quick and up a track which cut out a bit of very busy road but I had to push! We started just past Thornthwaite and headed to Cockermouth for tea and scones, then round Loweswater and to Lorton for an Ice Cream and then up over Whinlatter for coffee and cake. It was all down hill then back to the car. lovely!
