Sourmilk Gill and Gillercombe Buttress

A fantastic day with Joe – we really had forgotten how much fun scrambling is. We went up Sourmilk Gill Grade 2** and then reached Gillercombe Buttress by way of Seathwaite Upper Slabs. A fine Scramble up Gillercombe Crag – North East buttress. Grade 3***

we went on to the top of Grey Knotts 697m and then made our way down. Drove back to kendal and met up with Kai and Blair for a chippy tea.
