Flake Buttress on Gill Crag, Dovedale

Hartsop Above How 581m     Hart Crag 822m

What a day and excellent if too short Scramble up Flake Buttress on Gill Crag. It was the top end of grade 3 and very exposed but the flake hand hold were excellent. From the top of the Scramble we headed up Hartsop Above How 581m and then on to Hart Crag 822m . from there we dropped down to the coll and made our way back down to Dovedale and back to the car.

Looking back on Flake Buttress
