Pen y Ghent Reccy Number Two

A much duller day to day as we wandered into the clag as we walked up Pen y Ghent. I will always think of it as a wet and windy fell!. the mission was to see if there was a better way to Ribblehead than through all the bog. In fact they have built a new path that cuts straight down to the Pennine Way path and while not interesting walking we were not up to our knees in bog! It took us 4 1/2 hours back to the bike which was a bit slow but we were a bit weary after the week in the Lakes so not too bad. roger gave me a backy to the station Inn where i waited for him to return with the car. Not a friendly place! It got a bit wet towards the end.
