Up Gleann Einich on our bikes…..

We set off from home on our bikes and cycled up Glean Einich. It was a lot further than we remembered but eventually we got to the start of the path up to Braeriach. We were running out of daylight a bit but decided to go up to the scramble on the west ridge of coire Dhondail. (Grade 1) it was a little loose a jumble of rocks really. Once at the top we did a small circuit and came down the path which lead up from up to the coire. We got back home at about 5.30 so we’re out about 8 hours…not bad! Looking towards braeriach Sgor Gaoithwhere we left our bikes track up to coire Dhondail Sgor GaoithLookimg back to Carn Eilrigwest ridge of coire Dhonail where the scramble went up. Am BodachThere has been a lot of rock falls lately due to the wet weather. Here is signs of recent rock falls obliterating the path.looking back at loch Einich
