The Best Beach in Britain – well one of them!

We set of last night after my wedding at the Big Husky Lodge. Stopped at Lairg for tea and saw Chris Bonnington! After that we drove up the road and found a spot to stop. We had a bit of a midge evasion! Not what we expected but the new midge nets on the new sky light worked a treat. next morning we headed north and parked up at Droman Pier. 

Although a walk in our book we decided to ride our bikes to Sandwood beach. It was a good track with a few drainage channels at the far end to hop over. Back at the van we had a great pasta meal and watched the sun go down. A fantastic day.
