This is the prominent hill that over looks Loch Morlich, it is often dark when the Cairngorms are light or light when the Cairngorms are dark. I have always wanted to stand on the top and today I did.

I took my bike up the track up Gleann Eanaich and left it hidden in the heather just past the bridge. At first I thought I had made an error as the river was bigger than I remembered and I would not have been happy crossing it especially on my own in a lock-down! Luckily I remembered the bridge. At first the going was heathery and mossy but as the ground steepened it got easier and once ion the broad ridge the going was easy. The views were splendid. After a buttie and coffee I headed back the the bike and zoomed back home. Tired legs now but the longest lockdown day yet. pleased but missed my walking buddy Joe.
