Even though Dot had been up this hill a few times she decided to keep me company which was lovely. We rode up to the hut under Carb Ruadh bhreac, where we left the bikes. It was a good old ride up the glen which I would be glad to ride down at the end. After our first lunch in the hut ( socially distancing with the door open!) we set of up the track which ended in an argo track and then peat hags which were not so bad. The cloud cleared off the distant hills of the Cairngorms which was lovely. It isn’t the most exciting hill to climb but the views were fantastic. Second lunch at the summit and a return to the bikes and a wizz back to the vans. Even though the sun wasn’t really out my face was a bit red this evening!! First lockdown Corbett.
