Kentmere with my Lads

It was great to be out walking with Joe and Kai, We picked Kai up from the station in Stavely and drove up Kentmere, Parking was ok which was good. Joe had planned a few options and we decided to go for the middle one which was to go up Kentmere Pike and circle round Hater Fell and then cut down the valley. It was a long enough walk! longer than intended as we had to retrace our steps to collect rogers stick left by Kai when he took one of many photos of sheep for Blair!!!

It was a bit claggy on the top. but kai enjoyed it and wants to come out with us again which is great especially if he brings as many sweeties as he did this time. Just before we got back to the car Joe and I picked some brambles…….Kai cam back with us we watched a film – joker and had a lovely tea of chicken and chanterelle mushrooms that i brought down…lovely
