It was the first day of Joe’s holiday visit, the weather was not that brilliant – windy and wet in the west and windy and a cloudy here. We had wanted to got to the north West but it would have been miserable i think so we decided to do stuff from Aviemore. I had wanted to get up this hill since Anne Marie and i Climbed Creagan a’Chaise back in June when we were still in lock-down. The wind was manageable on the top and we had a lovely walk along the flat ridge to the summit . great view of Ben Rinnes and Glenlivet. The descent was fine but we had rather a tedious walk along the spey way back to the car, with many many chain gates. Then a field with many cows and a bull and i capped it off by falling in a slurry pit, Joe got me out and got stuck but luckily i didnt get stuck getting him out…..i was a bit smelly.
