Today we thought the weather would be ok for something slightly higher, in the event the day turned out lovely and we were treated to fantastic views of of the nearby munros. We couldn’t park where we intended as the ground was too sodden so we went back along the road to an alternative start. It was steep and hard going through deep heather and bog. but was worth it! There was two other people walking on the hill but neither went along to the second top. We got back to the van just as the light was fading. The last bit down we found a little path that was most welcome.
