Kennapole Hill….a bike and hike

Today is tax return day but kai said afternoon which i thought was 2pm ish but to him it was 5pm ish. so i decided to head off for a bit of a bike ride and walk up Kennapole Hill. Very icy ride but i had my spikes tyres so all good. The walk was interesting a scramble up snow moss juniper bushes and fallen trees! I wasn’t sure which way i would get back to the bike but certainly not the way I came up. The top was lovely and a clear path headded roughly the way i wanted to go! it turned out to be a much easier way down and came out on the track not far from my bike. Back home just before dark in time to do my tax return. A excellent wee adventure
