The first day of joes holiday and the forecast is good. Better than good. After a bit of bother getting the pump on the tap fixed we set of from Kenny’s just after 9am. Arriving at the start of the walk at 12 noon. We intended to scramble up Allt Leacachain which we did a little way but the water was a bit high for it to be of much interest and the hills beckoned!
It was a most excellent day two great ridges and fantastic views to the hills to the north and the Fanniachs. It was longer than we thought but so worth it. Then back to the van and a lovely park up spot. Joe cooked pasta and we had the rest of the pavlova.
