I was only back I from Sue and Chris’s on Wednesday evening but Janet was keen to climb a hill so this one seemed a good choice as it wasn’t too big a drive from home and I had to get the car to the garage before we left. It was a lovely sunny day with no wind. However there was cloud swirling about so by the time we at the summit we were in the flag. We did see an amazing fog bow – a first for me. We decided to carry on along the ridge but then dropped down before the end to the track along the shore and a 4 km walk back to the bridge. It wasn’t so bad! The day was a good one but I should have had my camera with me not just my phone.
