A walk with the Mountain Club

It was my turn to co-ordinate the mountain club walk – the first time so I didn’t really know what was expected in terms of anything but it all worked out. Bob gave me Dot and Jinty a lift which was nice. I lost two of the group early on Jinty turned back due to her bad hip and Dot at the water crossing which wasn’t supposed to be so full. I was left with the fast fit ones with no excuse to bail after the first hill. I was glad i didn’t it was a good walk. the top of Carn Dearg was in the cloud but all the rest was clear. We just got back to the car before the rain and had a nice cuppa at Jinty’s on the way home. I was last on the top of Carn Dearg with Roger in January 2013.
