Escape from the refit.

Beinn Churalain 549m (sub 2000)

I decided not to follow the route in the Hugh’s book because I wanted to visit the old burial ground on the way up the hill. The burial ground was very lovely but oh dear what followed next! Very steep scrub. Then very steep hillside but what lovely views of the higher hills all around. I had picked a lower hill as my energy levels were pretty low after a few days working on Peggy and living in the van. My choice of route for the decent was probably worse than the accent.

Oh well a grand diversion from the refit. And the weather was glorious for March.
