After a lot of faffing with the van – taking it to the Linnie marina, joe arriving by train we were ready to take Peggy on her last sail of the year from Mallaig to Linnie marina. The day started lovely and sunny with a nice wind for sailing, we saw a pop of dolphins. The weather got a bit rainy and blowy as we headed into Sanna Bay….I did get a bit sick!!

After a climb at we farletter with Chris Anne Marie and I headed off to meet up with Dot for a wee bike and hike. We rode out along the coast from Spey bay and camped by the shore. A lovely evening with a campfire on the beach watching the sun go down and seals watching us.
The nest day we rode along the shore to Lossiemouth got lost in the sand dunes found the beach and the new bridge, had ice cream and rode back through the woods. A most excellent couple of days.

I just loved it on the way back Anne Marie and l climbed up this Corbett that I have had my eye on for a while.it is true to say I was truly knackered! But a lovely sunny day maybe a bit hot! and a great hill with splendid views. It will take a bit of resting to get over!

Another very hot day and we are also beginning to get pretty tired. We only managed one route which Chris lead but it was a nice crag and definitely one to come back to.

Another hot day. And unfortunately all the climbs in the shade were too hard! We had an extra long walk in as there was a barrier to the gravel road so we had to walk from there. Excellent friendly crag.

Puig Campana

Today we decided to have a walk up the Puig Campana. Which is the big hill we can see from our apartment. It was quite windy and we did wonder if we would be able to get all the way to the top. But we did. It was the longest and most elevation I have done this year. We were very weary when I got back to chris’ van.
