Loch Sunart Bike pack: Day One

Well this was to be my first two day solo bike pack and indeed it was but not the one I planned lol. It started off well enough I found a spot to park the van but it was 1 1/2 km down hill start. At the bottom I noticed I didn’t have my camera. It was left at the van. There was nothing for it but a ride up the hill to get it. At least I had two goes at the down hill!

The ride along the loch was lovely and I eventually found a wonderful camp spot by a jetty made from an old boat and just before the track turned inland.

I brought real food with me which I cooked after I had set up my amazing new tent. I am so pleased with it. It was a dream to put up and I can sit in it and move around comfy. Yay. I also was so pleased I took my chair. An essential bit of kit.
