Around Menorca Day 7

Around Son Bou.

Last night we arrived at our apartment hotel which we have for two nights so today was our first whole day with out moving. It was intended as a rest day if we had continued cycling round the island. The weather was getting hotter definitely. Kenny decided to cycle down to the shore to go fishing but it quickly became apparent that it was way too hot. I joined him via a reed bed path that was a bit nuts! The track along the coast was very nice with only one section of hike a bike. We arrives at Saint Tomas and I went for a swim and Kenny went to the bar. After we had lunch. Another nice salad. We headed back along the coast. Kenny came for a swim but didn’t want to go in off the rocks in a little inlet but wanted to go off the beach. Then it was too sandy. Actually it was just too hot! We then had an epic push along a sand path for a couple of kilometers. A bad choice. We thought it would be better than the reed bed path it wasn’t.
