Vicky Dot Vicky’s dog and Myself set out to go up Goat fell we started off walking up glen Sannox having left a car further down the road so we would miss out some road walking. There was a lovely little bit of scrambling onto the saddle, which was interesting for Judy the dog, who hadn’t scrambled before. We then followed the ridge up to North Goat Fell and onto the summit itself. There would have been some more lovely scrambling along the ridge but as I was a bit out of practise I decided to take the easy option and take the path. A brilliant day and the best mountain day I had had for a while. always so good to be back in the hills.
