The forecast was not that good but we travelled in hope that it would be ok. I tweaked my hip on the ferry on the way out and it was sore for the weekend. I do love my tent. Great campsite with a fantastic view. On day one we cycled about and went up the high point of the island. It was at about my limit. The forecast was for wind and rain and jeanie and I decided to escape but CalMac had other ideas! The ferries were cancelled due to a mechanical issue. And it was looking dodgy for everyone to get off. In the end we got off on the Miss Marlie. My bike got soaked with sea water, sob sob. I took Sarah with me as she had to get home. Luckily the others managed to get off on Monday.
